American Rock act, The Offspring, have released a new single which is the title track from their upcoming album ‘Let The Bad Times Roll’ which will be released on April 16th 2021.
‘Let The Bad Times Roll’ will be The Offspring’s 10th studio album and their first album release in just over 9 years. There last release was in 2012 with ‘Days Go By’ with the albums title single hitting number 12 on the U.S Billboard 200 and selling 24,000 copies.
The new single has certainly thrown us back to the early 2000’s, although they are back with a slightly different sound, from what we’ve heard so far anyway. Upon listening to the new track, you can still immediately tell it’s The Offspring however, it’s not got the usual kickass feel, but it’s still an absolute banger which is exactly what we expect.
We all knew The Offspring where planning some sort of release, last year it was revealed the new album was put on hold, but it’s finally here and ready to rock venues across the world when we are all able to get back to partying with our friends.
Overall, the new track is like we said, an absolute banger and is incredibly catchy. It still features the awesome guitar riffs, a drum beat that gets stuck in your head and of course the iconic Dexter Hollands vocals which finishes off the fine slice of The Offspring’s delicious new sound. “OHH BABY LET THE BAD TIMES ROLL, OH, OH OH OOH” is going to be stuck in our heads for the next few weeks.
