British Cross Over act, The Final Clause of Tacitus, will be releasing a brand new EP ‘Asinine Music for the Solemn and Staid’ on Friday 14th May 2021.
The Final Claus of Tacitus have created a sound that you don’t really hear these days, bringing back old school sounds from the likes of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, KoRn, Skunk Anansie & Rage Against The Machine, whilst also incorporating their own unique sounds and loading each song with boundless energy.
Despite only forming in 2016, The Final Claus of Tacitus have no only formed a dedicated fanbase, they’ve also received support from the likes of Kerrang! & performing live shows alongside awesome artists such as: Skindred, Hacktivist, 808 State, Senser, DJ Lethal, Crazy Town, (HED) P.E and Electric Six.
On March 5th 2021 the band released a brand new single from the upcoming EP titled ‘Something’s Gonna Break’ of which, in our opinion is an awesome track and it really does give off those old school RATM vibes and we absolutely love it!
Vocalist Matt Dune spoke about the upcoming EP ‘Asinine Music for the Solemn and Staid’:
“Born out of the flames of 2020, when the world as we knew it changed, this record tackles face first the feelings of despair and anger we all have been feeling this past year. It pulls in a more aggressive sound, producing anthems of anger with each song giving you a different message to unite in our anguish together.” – Matt Dune (Vocalist)
Overall the brand new single is brilliant and we are sure the upcoming EP is going to kick ass. As of recent years we’ve had a lot of new Rock & Metal artists explode across the scene, all of which are extremely talented as well as bringing in new sounds, but it is cool to see old school vibes & todays sounds finally coming together.
